I had the opportunity to participate in several exhibitions organized by Galateca Gallery in Bucharest — a meaningful moment that marked the first public presentation of my illustrations. These exhibitions brought together some of my earliest works, created as part of a visual exploration of Romanian ancestral symbolism.
The initial series was inspired by the richness of traditional Romanian folk costume and by the iconic image of Queen Marie of Romania, reinterpreted through a contemporary illustrative language. Alongside this body of work, I presented the Roots collection, a series centered on the subtle relationship between human presence and nature, where vegetal and cosmic elements become symbols of origin, transformation, and inner balance.
Exhibiting within the context of Galateca Gallery represented an important beginning, a moment of transition from personal exploration to public dialogue, shaping the direction of my artistic practice and opening new perspectives for future projects.
