4th International Crafts Festival – Gavar, Armenia, organized by Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts, Yerevan, 2025

I had the pleasure of being invited to exhibit my works at The Crafts Festival, organized by the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts from Yerevan, and held in Gavar, Armenia, a festival dedicated to celebrating craftsmanship and handmade art created by artists from Armenia and many other countries. It became a vibrant cultural encounter where tradition and contemporary artistic voices met, opening a space for dialogue, inspiration, and shared creativity.

For two days, I had the joy of exhibiting alongside artists from Armenia, Estonia, Georgia, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, and Croatia, a meaningful exchange of perspectives, techniques, and stories.

Beyond the artistic experience, the journey offered me the chance to discover part of Armenia’s historical richness and poetic landscape: the serene waters of Sevan Lake, the timeless presence of Sevanavank Monastery, and Noratus, a medieval cemetery filled with remarkable khachkars — intricately carved stone crosses that carry centuries of memory. I also visited the house museum of the Armenian film director and artist Sergei Parajanov, an inspiring space that reflects a unique universe where cinema, symbolism, and visual poetry intertwine.

I remain deeply grateful for the encounters, the cultural dialogue, and the inspiring atmosphere that transformed this experience into a lasting artistic reflection.
