It is a graphic story inspired by the symbolic universe of the Romanian Royal Family and the decorative refinement of Cotroceni Palace.
At its heart, the sun, symbol of light and life, becomes an infinite chandelier of vegetal tendrils, connecting earth and sky, history and the present. The ogee arch of the Golden Salon frames the composition as a ceremonial gateway to an imaginary garden, where architecture and nature intertwine.
The fleur-de-lis and crown evoke royalty, nobility, purity and dynastic continuity, while the vines, inspired by the palace ornamentation and the gardens beloved by Queen Marie, symbolize renewal, harmony and the bond between humanity and nature. The Celtic cross brings a spiritual dimension, uniting tradition and faith, while gold recalls both the Golden Salon and nobility. At the base, two gargoyle-inspired figures guard the entrance like silent sentinels.
The Crowned Garden is an invitation to contemplation — an imaginary garden where royal symbols, nature and the ornamental beauty of the palace bloom together, crowned by light and memory.
